In 1991 he visited Dr. Gary Monheit and Dr. Daniel Russo in Birmingham, Alabama, where he learned the basics of hair restoration, he then visited Dr. Pierre Bouhana and Dr. Patrick Raubineau in Paris, and Dr. Walter Unger in Toronto.

Since 1991 Dr. Ginzburg performed more than 6000 hair transplants in Israel. His currentpractice mainly offers Follicular Unit Transplanteation by both strip and FUE methods, eyebrow transplant and tricophytic donor closure technique

About the Doctor

 

Dr. Alex Ginzburg was born in Argentina. In 1976 he completed medical school at the University of La Plata, Argentina. In 1978 he moved to Israel and completed his residence in Dermatology in 1987 at Rabin Medical Center, Campus Beilinson, Israel.

Dr. Ginzburg served on the Board of Directors for the International Society for Dermatology Surgery. He is a founding member of the European Society for Micrographic Surgery and founded and past presided the Israel Society for Dermatological Surgery. In 1987 he received a Perry Robins scholarship of the International Society for Dermatological Surgery, and trained in Dermatologic Surgery with Professor Camacho in Sevilla, Spain.

He was invited for many doctors in the world to teach hair transplant, he did hair tansplant in many countries like India, Rumania, Brasil, Spain, Germany, Korea, Philipines, Turkey, France, Italy, Dominican Republic and USA.

Dr Ginzburg has 35 fellows from all over the world who teach them the art of hair transplant. He regulary attends ( usually as invited guest of faculty) several conferences and workshops every year and keeps in continuous consultation and bebate with colleagues around the world.

Dr Ginzburg is an active member of many professional organizations, including the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery as well as the International Society for Dermatological Surgery, the Israely Society od Dermatology, American Society od Dermatology and others
