About the Doctor
Dr. Konior's philosophy is to focus on Individual needs, technology, and artistry during the hair restoration process. The doctor is also known for his approachable, down-to-earth manner and his ability to understand his patients' needs. He and his staff use the latest techniques and technology. His office is unique in several ways. Technique and placement are tailored individually for each patient. His techniques include lateral and saggital slits, trichophytic closure, FUT, FUE, and dense-pack sessions. Microscopes are used to dissect the hair grafts and to insure maximum growth. Every consultation and surgery is performed by Dr. Konior personally. The doctor is one of the founding board members of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. With fifteen founding members and four countries represented, the Board was established to certify surgeons in the field of surgical hair restoration. Dr. Konior was the co-chairman of Hair Replacement Surgery, an international symposium which took place in Chicago in 1995. The doctor has co-authored leading textbooks on hair restoration surgery and has formally trained surgeons on his techniques for nearly two decades.
