About the Doctor
Vito C. Quatela, Founder of the Quatela Center for Hair Restoration, has been successfully treating male and female patients with pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) and thinning hair for more than 25 years. The staff includes Dr. Vito C. Quatela, Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Heather Lee, Dr. Alex Montague, Patient Consultants, as well as skilled personnel to form a team that evaluates and treats each candidate based on personal needs.
A consultation at the Quatela Center for Hair Restoration is private and personal and offers an opportunity to explore hair restoration options, including prescriptive, nonsurgical, or surgical with follicular unit grafting transplantation (FUT), follicular unit extraction (FUE), or scalp reduction. Additionally, prospective candidates can view before and after photos of consenting patients with similar hair loss patterns and even talk with other patients who enjoy the benefits of restored hair. Confidentiality and personal attention is always foremost in working with patients and achieving the most natural result.
In addition to membership of the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery, Dr. Quatela is the Director of the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery and is double board certified in Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery as well as Otolaryngology. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Rochester, a Diplomate for the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), and the past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and sits on their Board of Directors. He is a lecturer throughout the US and internationally. Publications include original multiple scientific articles, monographs, book chapters, review articles and contributions to professional publications including Facial Plastic Surgery Times. His hospital affiliations include Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, Highland Hospital, and Unity Hospital.
