About the Doctor

Throughout his career Dr Vogel has been able to successfully combine private practice with academic pursuits in Plastic Surgery. Dr Vogel remains an active member of The Johns Hopkins Department of Plastic Surgery faculty. During his career he has achieved the rank of Associate Professor and taught residents both in the clinic, operating room, and office environment. Dr. Vogel has authored over 30 scientific articles and book chapters. In addition he has been invited to present over 75 scientific/clinical presentations at national and international conferences. Dr Vogel has held presidential positions in the Maryland Society of Plastic Surgery and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) . He was bestowed the Golden Follicle Award for excellence in hair restoration surgery by his peers in the ISHRS and was consistently voted a ‘TopDoc’ by community physicians in Baltimore Magazine.
