About the Doctor

James A. Harris, MD is the founder of the Hair Sciences Center of Colorado and is currently the medical director of Restore Hair Restoration clinics with offices in Chicago and Dallas. The Hair Sciences Center is a Restore Partner clinic. Dr. Harris' training is in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery and now limits his practice exclusively to follicular unit hair transplantation and the treatment of hair loss. Dr. Harris graduated from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1989 and completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery in 1994. He is currently Clinical Instructor of Hair Transplantation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Department of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery in Denver. Dr. Harris is diplomate and past president of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery,. He authored a book entitled "The Hair Replacement Revolution: A Consumers Guide to Effective Hair Replacement Techniques". Dr. Harris is author of numerous medical articles as well as professional presentations at the annual meetings of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
