About the Doctor

Founder and Vice President of HAIR RECOVERY, a leading company in Hair Medicine, with more than 30 years of experience in Argentina and Latin America. Since the founding of HAIR RECOVERY, Dr Susacasa has been committed full-time to research and innovation in hair restoration, as well as to the development of hair loss prevention and hair maintenance treatments for both men and women. Specialist in General Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine, member of the Argentinian Medical Association, the ISHRS and the SILATC, she is dedicated to the continuous improvement of hair transplantation techniques and has led several investigations. For one of these, “Hair transplantation without scar”, she was granted the second place award during the VII Annual Meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery held in San Francisco, USA, in October 1999. The results of the research, presented together with Dr. Nicolás Lusicic, were very well received by the scientific community and have given highly satisfactory results. Dr. Susacasa also works on the development of preventive treatments for those who suffer active hair loss, as well as on reconstructive surgery in eyebrows, sideburns, beards and mustaches. Los resultados de la investigación, presentada junto con el Dr. Nicolás Lusicic, fueron muy bien recibidos por la comunidad científica y han dado resultados altamente satisfactorios. Por otra parte, trabajo en el desarrollo de tratamientos preventivos para quienes padecen la pérdida activa del cabello, como así también, de cirugías reparadoras relacionadas al microtrasplante capilar en cejas, patillas, barba y bigote.
