About the Doctor

İlhan Serdaroğlu has graduated in 1994 from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine with the 7th grade. He has practiced and taught plastic surgery at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic, in Antalya from 1994-2002. Dr. İlhan Serdaroğlu has over 13 years of experience in hair transplantation and performs only FUE (follicular unit extraction) technique hair transplantation since 2009 exclusively at his clinic in İstanbul, Turkey. Plastic Surgeon İlhan Serdaroğlu is a certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with an interest in cosmetic surgery , specifically in hair restoration surgery.He entered the field of hair restoration because he understands the importance of “hair” for a man . He likes dealing with men who has lack of self confidence due to loss of hair and tries to help them to achieve a new phase in their life.Dr. İlhan Serdaroğlu performs hair transplant surgery on just 1 or 2 patients per day in his clinic and specializes in FUE technique. He is able to perform 2 high density FUE sessions up to 3500-3900 FU a single day. Beside that he also performs hair transplantation for scar camouflage after facelifts, accident or burning injuries; restoring eyebrows, beard or moustache (using hair from scalp), sideburns and BHT (body hair transplantation – using hair from beard and chest to restore hair on the scalp). He advise patients to have Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments at least one session during hair transplantation.Dr. İlhan Serdaroğlu has a transplantation team that is very experienced on performing high number graft transplantation, densely packed mega FUE sessions. Medical staff has over 10 years experience in hair transplantation, exceeding 4000 grafts when appropriate for the patient and dedicated exclusively to hair restoration for years.Dr. İlhan Serdaroğlu prefers using only motorized devices with sizes ranging from 0.8mm to 0.9mm in size. He claims that, carefull planning on distribution of all the grafts, dense packing FUE and level of natural frontal hair line are crucial touchstones of successfull hair restoration.So, the guarantee of the successfull hair restoration procedure depends on skills and experience of the hair surgeon.
