About the Doctor
A native New York City resident, Dr. Sadick graduated from SUNY Binghamton in 1973. He completed his medical school training at SUNY Upstate in 1977. His internship in internal medicine was at SUNY, and he completed his medical residency at Cornell-North Shore hospitals. His dermatology training was completed in 1983 at New York Hospital where he served as chief resident. He is board certified in both internal medicine and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Sadick is the recipient of such prestigious awards as the Jobst Asward for Research in Vascular Diseases and the American Cancer Society Research Award, as well as the American Medical Association’s Continuing Medical Education Award. Dr. Sadick is currently a consultant for such companies as Syneron, Allergan, Thermage, Edge Systems and Radiancy. He lectures regularly at local, national and international medical conferences, as he remains at the the forefront of developments in vascular disease, hair disorders, prevention of aging, fat and cellulite correction and laser technology. His professional society affiliations and appointments have included: President of the New York Academy of Medicine, Dermatology Section; President of the Manhattan Metropolitan Dermatological Society of Greater New York; Secretary-Treasurer of the American College of Phlebology; Secretary-Treasurer of the Long Island Dermatologic Society. He is the author of three books, 24 chapters and has published 70 peer review papers in medical journals. Dr. Sadick’s hospital affiliations are with New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center where he is Clinical Professor of Dermatology and North Shore University Hospital. He currently serves as President of the American College of Phlebology, and the Long Island Dermatology Society and on the Board of Directors of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
