Dr. Epstein, one of the country’s leading experts in hair restoration surgery, is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (where he received the highest score in his board exams), the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (a non-ABMS certifying organization) and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Specializing in hair transplantation since 1993, he is considered amongst his peers as an expert in follicular unit extraction for men and women including the use of BHT (beard to scalp transplants) and his development of the no-shave FUE approach, eyebrow restoration, and reparative hair procedures. Dr. Epstein is also one of the world’s experts in hairline lowering/forehead reduction surgery. Widely published in the plastic surgery, dermatology, and hair transplant literature, Dr. Epstein has an active clinical practice, personally performing 6 to 8 hair procedures weekly.
