Dr. Distefano is the chief of surgery at his newest hair transplant clinic, Northeast Hair Restoration. Dr. DiStefano has developed new devices and procedures to advance the art and science of hair restoration. He also attends and teaches at national and international conferences to keep up with the latest and proven techniques in hair restoration surgery. His is the only clinic in New England and New York to perform the “no shave” technique that is truly a “no shave”.

Dr DiStefano has performed over 10,000 hair restoration procedures. 

Dr. DiStefano received his medical degree in 1979 from Georgetown University. He has been a member and Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery since 1994 the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.

He has trained over 20 other hair restoration surgeons form around the world and has kept in close contact with them as friends and colleagues.

In 2021, Dr. Thomas brand has joined his practice and has gained an outstanding reputation in hair restoration.
